About Me:
I used to think that working in the "real world" would give me rootedness and contentment. And yet, there's so much in the world I still want to see and do. My road trip through Tennessee and holidays in Bali and Hong Kong in the last two years reminded me that there are so many places I still have to see. So now, I'm in Geneva for two years. Who knows if my wanderlust will work itself out of my system someday.
I appear conventional usually because I find the tried and true comfortable. For many ideas important to me, however, there are contradictions. I'm generally an idealistic person who tries to look at the world from an internally consistent viewpoint. When that doesn't work--as it does a lot of times--I try to give a cynical chuckle and move on. Though I can't always be loyal to my ideas, I try always to be loyal to friends.
I enjoy time outdoors in the water, especially swimming and rowing. I like to spend time with friends, cook, read (history and news) and wander around new places. One of my life's passions is music. I see operas when I can and enjoy very much the Anglican chant and English hymns on Sundays. Musicals are harder to get to, but maybe I'll do a jaunt up to London soon.

Who I Want to Meet:
(1) Nice people
(2) Fun people--Anyone up for canoeing?
(3) People who share my passion for music like musicals, choral music or even my guilty pleasure, country rock
(4) People with compassion for their fellow man and concern for the course of this world

high school when we met over the
summer at the carleton summer writing
program. of all guys, i think he is
one that i've tried (and at times been
really bad at) keeping in touch with.
anyhow, ben... one of the sweetest
guys. hopefully sometime after
graudation, we'll finally get to chill
again like old times. hope things are
going well for you buddy!!! take care.
and thanks for finding me on
friendster.
UCLA (besides Rabbi Mendel, of course;-)). He
is extremely witty, which has made for some
"impressive" debates/discussions, most of
which ended with me threatening to drink his
holy water. I think I'm a better person for
having lived with this guy, and appreciate his
sensitivity and unique ability to defuse
situations. When I take over the world, Ben's
definitely going to be a Viceroy, or Under-
Pharaoh, or something really cool like that.
He's just that awesome a guy.
