Testimonials and Comments for Aaron
brother, my dad, my best friend, and
the boy on the couch. We met in a
lame acting class, which is amazing
because I think he slept through the
few classes I did not. His rhythm is
uniquely Aaron, as is his sense of
time, place... He will capture a piece
of your soul in his camera, but make
you laugh while doing so. He is not
afraid of silences. He has a great
laugh. He smells good. He is THE
friend you can call at 4 am and be
sure he will be awake. He has often
told me exactly what I most needed
to hear, even if it was exactly what I
most didn't want to hear. I miss him
lots.
him, in a manly way of course! : )}
Seriously, I don't know anyone who I
can have the conversations we have,
ranging from Tom Waits to life
experiences to Djarum Internationals
(Damnit! They added a filter!), at any
time of day, and keep me as
enthralled. Next time, dude, we WILL
party and I won't crash on your couch...
(only because you've kept his phone number for
years for reasons beyond your own conversation)
after not seeing him for two years and say "What's
up man. Can I come over?"
Your number hasn't changed, has it?
focusing, and makes horribly awkward
analogies (but damn it if they don't
always work). He also happens to be
one of the most genuine, generous,
talented, and intelligent people I
have ever met. He makes me jealous,
but it's a priviledge to have been
able to call him my friend since the
million years ago when we first hung
out at Mano's together.
can understand my insane schedule
I keep. Not that I am always
working...ha, no. Just
awake...brewing ideas. I met Aaron
when we were midget tossing in the
Alps. I threw a little guy a good five
six feet, placing myself in first place.
Just as I was sure I would recieve
the trophy (rice pudding and a punch
in the knee), Aaron walked up to me.
He was all like "Oh yeah?" And I was
like, "yeah." Then he threw a dwarf
off the mountain top. There was
nothing in the rule book that said you
can't throw a dwarf off the mountain
top (if it had been a midget, well
that's a different story). After the little
dude stopped rolling miles away,
Aaron was boosted up on the
shoulders of all the guys. They all
chanted his name, fed him rice
pudding, and puched him in the
knee. Yeah. Aaron's real good at
thinking outside the box. Good guy.
the chapter house, and thank goddess.
right? cause this one time, amidst a hundred
thousand crazy drunk college kids, this guy
aaron showed himself for the first time in all
the years since we'd met. he's a true artist.
and he is often awake during the wee-est
hours of the morning . . .
He's the only person I know who is a
certified genius and also a talented digital
artist. His photography skills are steadily
propelling him to certain success -I only
hope he remembers that I got him some
good freelance jobs on his way to the top.
Besides his brains and eye for art, Aaron is
a genuinely nice guy and will be there when
you need him to help you create a website
(thanks man). Aaron has a very strong
conviction to do what is right in life - he
would make a great super hero - if only he
had super powers. Anyway, you would be
lucky to count this guy as a friend(ster).
