Mel's character is a combination between Jim Carrey's character in The Cable Guy, Matt Damon's in The Talented Mr. Ripley, and who's that psycho girl in Single White Female? Yeah that.

Mel is also a skeptic, agnostic, cynical, temperamental, sentimental, pessimistic, possessive and an incurable loner.
Testimonies from childhood friends including seeing her strolling alone in the middle of nowhere with her eyes staring down at her own feet. Weird, eh? And while we're at that, YES, she TALK TO HERSELF, all the time.

Her husband is crazy about her. What I meant is, who's crazy enough to love MEL?? Really??? Guess the spell works, huh? Her kids adore her no matter what and no matter how insane she become when she's ticked off.

And boy, she's easily ticked off.

She loves her brother so much, she could go through the fire for him.
She loves her kids so deeply, she could walk through broken glass for them.
Last but not least, she's madly in love with her husband, she would die for him. But if after that the husband should remarry, she would gladly haunt them.

She hates two faced people, backstabber, too nice to be true person (awkward.awkward),and she really despises shallow and judgmental people.

Oh, and if something went wrong, she usually blame somebody else.
