Brendie was the frosh in my chem-phys
class in a striped green tee shirt and
overalls that we used to tie to a desk
chair so that he would write our
hypotheses for us. My lab partner of
three years, the reason i passed
science in HS, and my prom date. fond
memories indeed. and then the freak
stalker followed me to SC. loser.
I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather
carry a rancid mattress in and out of a
co-dependant's dumpster with.

when I knew him, he was the author of
such gems as: "I was like a pearl in a
sea of tar" and "I hope to present some
illuminating snapshots of my young life."
I bring these to your attention to
illustrate my bitterness at Brendan's
refusal to protect me from Leo the
Terrible for four long, miserable years.
That said, no man has touched me like
Brendan has. With his sensitivity to
literature and poetry, that is. He was
reading The Iliad for about five years,
but hey, when you're the oldest 22 year
old in the world, that's nothing. May it
always be Tuesday Afternoon in your
world, Brendan.
I wish I hung out with more than I do.
And that's not a long list of people,
believe me.
love and caring were bloody stains of
Ron Goldman's DNA, Brendan would
have taken the fall for O.J. in a week.
that many take for granted because its
a virtue we're afraid to grant
ourselves: and that's incredibly high
standards. For friends, family, and
everything he does. But most
significantly for himself. And I'm
proud he has them for me. (see his

great person to have in your corner...
I don't see him and we don't hang out
as often as I'd wish. And he's the
kind o friend that you would worry
about, cuz you would never want to lose
him. but then you realize that one of
the reason you wouldn't want to lose
him is cuz he's the type of friend you
can't lose, cuz he's always there when
you need him, no questions asked,
exactly where you left off.
He's a Bro like that. Midwestside
forever. Mafia reign.
