      • Anna and I were in this play together. And
for character work, we did this physical
exercise where she would keep pushing
my head down into my own lap--picture
me sitting, then the image will make
sense. We continued this "action" outside
the world and rehearsal of the play. I'm
sure many people would find it demeaning
to get their face pushed into their own lap,
but I loved it... every minute of it. Not
because I don't find the action demeaning,
but because Anna was doing it, and she
was doing it in the sweetest way possible.
Now, this story isn't exactly true, but parts
        of it are.

Anna is beautiful, wonderful actress, and
her fiance (aka Borckus Shlorckus) is the
bomb diggity. She doesn't know it, but
being her friend at UGA helped me mature
        into who I am today.

        Love,
        Shapour Bernard

      • Anna is a combination of a Southern
        Belle and a no-nonsense-Southern-I'm-
        gonna-kick-your-ass-and-tell-it-like-
it-is-Belle. Does that make sense? I
think it will to people who know her.

When I first met Anna she didn't like
me very much (which was warranted).
But as time went on I realized that
for the people that really matter, you
        have to earn their friendship.

Anna is a very talented, sassy,
        beautiful, and compassionate person,
and I'm glad to know her as my friend.

Plus, we survived the torture that is
        AJP.

      • Anna became my best friend on the eve
of my 12th b-day and I have yet to
laugh as hard as I did when I saw her
on a daily basis. I've got a picture of
her impression of Wanda from In Living
Color and the mere sight of it still
makes me lose it. I miss the days of
having cake and milk under the stars
and chilling at the Mitcham hiz-ouse.
She is a jewel of talent, intelligence,
honesty, hilarity and will forever be
Spry. I feel lucky to know her and am
sad I don't get to see her more often!
