My parents set me up for years of trauma by naming me Marte. When I was 3 years old my dad was carrying me out of some event and you couldn't see my face, but you could see my long hair w/ a white barrette in it, my stockings and cute shoes. The picture ran in the local newspaper and the caption underneath read, Dr. John Meyerhoff and his SON Marte. Needless to say, I don't really like my name. People who don't know me always mispronounce it. I only like it when a telemarketer calls, they mispronounce my name and I hang up. My brother chooses to embrace his unlucky name. His screen name is JACK MEyerhOFF.
My friends will tell you that Im a good friend and can always be counted on, whether it's for a night in, a night out, or for dragging people out. I'm always good at organizing fun events. I am very loyal, not so good at staying in touch, but loyal. My friends are very important to me.
I eat lots of candy; I probably have enough sugar in my blood stream to kill a large animal. I still eat fruit roll-ups and fruit by the foot. Some of my friends don't like coming over b/c my kitchen is so well stocked. I think I have enough food to last me a month, but most of it is junk food.
I speak my mind, which sometimes gets me in trouble. I pick on everyone, including myself. If I do something stupid I'm the first to laugh at myself, and I'll laugh the hardest. I just can't take myself that seriously. If you want an honest opinion come to me, but beware that I will really be honest.
I didn't follow everyone else and move to NYC, I decided to head to Atlanta for warmer weather, and it's the best decision I could have ever made.
I can't spell, like really can't spell. Go back and read this, I'll bet you find misspelled words. In lower school I had to miss a lot of recesses to study spelling because I did so poorly on spelling tests.
I love birthdays, whether it's my own or someone else's. It's just fun getting to celebrate someone. And I really like cake.
