I graduated with my Music Composition Bachelors a couple years ago and have since been working as a graphic and web designer for the State of Michigan, still composing and immersing myself in filmmaking on the side (spartancity.com, most recently). Eventually, I'd like music and writing/directing to take over as a fulltime career, but at this point I'm just trying to express and enhance my creativity, and if something clicks, I'll pursue it further. (Filmmaking, for example, is fairly new to me, and came out of a brief but well received little public access sitcom based on a cartoon I used to draw for the State News.) I try and challenge myself in as many new and exciting ways as I can think of, whether its in helping myself to grow, or in helping and educating others.

Someone who isn't afraid to challenge themselves (and me) on an intellectual level. Someone who's spontaneous enough to say "sure, I'll do a cameo for you" or "lets fly to Texas tomorrow." Someone who isn't afraid to share their own poetry or photography or art or interests or passions. Someone who realizes that being a responsible adult does NOT mean you can't still skip around Toys R Us or a playground and laugh like a ten year old sometimes. :) Thinking about my best male and female friends, what they all seem to have in common is that they have some sort of drive or spark inside them, the desire to improve themselves, or the world, or both.
