instantly because he was crazy, had
the best laugh, real, what laughs
should sound like. one of the best
drummers, ever. one of the best
friends you could ever hope to have.
i consider myself lucky to know him.
wish he lived closer so i could hang
with him.
about Odell. Top-notch taste in
music, smart, sweet, and always
inspires me to shake it when I'm
slowing down.
Odell time, but I know that if I ever got
stuck in an elevator or went to jail or
something with him we could always
find something easy to talk about.

Land...but, let me tell you...I
absolutely love hanging out with
him...he's taught me quite a bit about
music just by mentioning a few bands I
had never heard of...an awe-inspiring,
generous, aware individual...and a
righteous drummer. They know how to
build 'em sturdy in Motown...Does
everyone owe this man a beer or what?
and usually its all cold fluorescence
lighting and concrete, but this time it
was like sunshine and rocking
chairs, he's just nice like that with the
warm fuzzy pleasant thing goin' on in
a very genuine way......

was replaced by a robot. Immediately
after, he started raving and then then
became a lawyer. Now he alledgedly
works for a big record label, but still
has the time and energy to party non-
stop. I wish I could get replaced by a
robot as cool as the Odell series.
bands he listed had little
parenthetical notes, as if those
groups weren't obscure or hip
enough. Odell likes only the best
stuff by people you PRETEND you've
heard of. And he knows about
everything cool. He should be a rock
critic. Or a coolness consultant.
This guy is the enforcer, and has been a
great friend and influence to me for a long
time.
