      • I was raised by dolphins. I approve of
this Maltby type. I hope he likes the
        color pink. awww.
        love,
        Brigitte Bucko, dolphin child
        extraordinaire
P.S. Maltby is not a poo poo head and I
don't know why you'd ever think such a
        thing.

      • Once in high school Chris asked me why I
sounded like I just inhaled helium. I was
experimenting with new voices. It was
embarassing. I mean he was popular and
        stuff.

        having some exotic sub-Saharan
fever... you're left all exhausted and
disoriented, but you lose 10 pounds
and get to have really cool dreams.

      • Chris is a strange, strange being.
Rumor has it that he was born in
        captivity.

      • ah, the good ole' times we shared in
laguardia. i remember you as a sort of
        maverick..intelligent..witty..charismati
        c..a flair for writing. i figured i
        would hear from you again..indirectly.
ideally, i would be perusing the
shelves of a local bookstore and
stumble across a pulitzer prize or
booker award piece written by the one
        and only..christopher maltby. is your
work still in progress? or, a dream
        deferred?

      • I havent seen him in ages, but i do
know this he is the most commited
person to his creativity and his
imagination. He spent almost 2 years
convincing me he was the one who
        illustrated that Lena character
from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"! if
thats not commitment i dont know what
is. He's fascinating like a live car
        chase... you can't not watch.

      • My latest memory of Chris is him lying
on on his back, wasted, next to a cd
player putting on the greatest fucking
music. You're the best drunk (nearly
passed out) DJ I've ever met :)

      • If Chris Maltby only knew how I covet
the devastating wit and perfect comedic
timing that churns beneath his baseball
cap. I miss standing behind the
counter of Kim's Video and making him
        watch endless marathons of teens-in-
trouble movies, and I would even give
anything to once more have him take me
aside and be like "Are you OK?" when
really all I was doing was thinking
about what sandwich to order from Gray
Dog. If your apartment ever burns down
and you and your dog are rendered
homeless refugees, Maltby I can attest
that Maltby is the one who will take
you under the comforting plumage of his
        gossamer wing.

      • You were mumbling about them being "...
detrius of society. They will be
disposed of, only by those who are
pure." And you did that shaking thing
you do when you get really excited, and
hugged the wall like it was the only
thing holding you down. And we're
like, "Dude, it's Spring Break." We
spent all that money, and waited seven
months to get down to Daytona Beach,
and you went into this fit as soon as
you walked in the beach house. And you
didn't leave that corner for six days
except to go around hiding all the beer
and, I think, you used the bathroom
ONCE. We ended up covering you with a
blanket in the hopes you'd get over it,
which you didn't actually do until two
hours into the drive back home. And
        even then you were mumbling.
