So I finally sucked it up and changed my country of residence. I was just getting too many questions and it was too big a pain in my ass to answer them. Uhhhhh, so much work. Exhausting.

Today in small group, instead of introducing ourselves, someone else in the group had to introduce us. Snazzernov decided to introduce me as "This is Marie. Her caustic personality erodes all of life's bullshit."

I have two new favorite med school words: caseous and anamnestic.

I think that when people refer to others as half-nude, that should only mean that they have one side of their clothes on or the other. Like, right or left half, not top or bottom half.

I am experiencing some deep, deep nostalgia for my dear Macalester. Last night I got to talking with some peeps about it, and nearly drowned myself in memories. Oh peace camp....oh sweet breakfast streakers....oh Macalester bell......and lets not forget the bagpipes. There is nothing quite as breathtaking as 300 bagpipers all marching towards you, piping their little hearts out. Plus, I think there was almost universal belief in evolution up there. Minnesota, if it weren't for the frigid cold, you would be near perfect.

My mother just called me "The product of centuries of inbreeding."

Who do I want to meet? People who are strong, but not overbearing. People who can just be themselves without worrying about the consequences. People who don't use other people to get ahead.
