In an age where artists come and go, as quickly as the disposable sounds that they bring and quickly take with them, it is rare when a gem shines through and stays around long enough to be revered and remembered. Liz Scott promises to be one of those gems, as her unique musical message permeates through the muck and muddiness of today’s pop scene.

Born in Sydney Australia, to English parents, Liz spent much time growing up in other countries such as Papua New Guinea, Guam USA, and the UK. The cultural diversities of her ever changing surroundings - combined with a vivid imagination - have helped to mold the incredible music that she is putting forth today. Liz explains “My songs are mostly based on true experiences, and combining the realities of life, they are also intertwined with elements of fantasy. I feel my songs are like messengers to the world in many different ways. What one person might experience when listening to one of my songs might be entirely different to how someone else might experience it, and that’s ok.… especially if it helps somebody in some way, whether it is to feel good or to provide comfort or a release in some way”.

Having begun her initial recordings in Australia in her early teens with many different producers, Liz was privileged to write with Russian songwriter Vladimir Matetsky, a turning point to the young artist. “He told me that he thought I had a very unique sound and that I should continue on my pursuit to find someone who shared my vision and would bring my songs out into the world…” That person turned out to be U.S. based super producer Markus Moser, most famous for his worldwide success with the amazing dance/pop act iio, and the man whose independent label ‘Made Records’ is setting new trends daily in the pop/dance arena. “I had a whole list of labels that I was to see, but my first meeting was with Markus and Made Records. I did go to the meetings with the other labels but I felt all the others really did not get my vision or my music. I feel truly honored and blessed that it was Markus who did have a vision and belief in me and wanted to do this album with me…”

While the world awaits her project, Liz has also been busy making her mark as a prolific songwriter - teasing us all, you could say, with the depth that will be shared on Princess. Having already established herself as one of Australia's foremost emerging young writers, Liz recently blessed the group Bardot with her creation "Empty Room” which was included on their first double platinum single, and debuted at #1. Bardot was the subject of the hit TV series Popstars and “Empty Room” was highlighted throughout, providing our wonderful songbird with some much appreciated exposure. Additionally, Liz also penned "One Of Us Has Changed". Performed by EMI artist Aleesha Rome, this track spent over 3 months on Australia’s national pop charts.

So now the time has come for Liz to share her works with the world through the Made Records release of her debut album “Princess”. A combination of musical experiences from her work with Vladimir Matetsky such as “Drop by Drop” & “No Good for Me” along with the results of her new union with Markus
