About Me:
I’m constantly getting amused by life itself.
Just last month, I was at one of Changi Airport boarding gates waiting for my flight to Tokyo. Then came this announcement with a female voice:
“Passengers boarding Flight SQxxx from seats x to seats y, kindly get on the plane.”
Well, I didn’t really take note of anything unusual until this ang mo fella went over to the counter and tell the staff.
“Excuse me, who was the lady who made the announcement?”
A timid looking lady owned up.
That ang mo continued, “Why did you say get ON the plane?!? Shouldn’t it be get IN the plane? I wouldn’t want to take a flight if they strap me on top of a plane and take off with me holding on for dear life!!!”
Yep, life’s amusement.
So tell me… is it get ON or get IN the plane?(Cos now I want to revisit my PSLE English textbook just to know the answer)
