About Me:
BAHAY-PARI NG BULAKAN FOUNDATION
The Diocese of Malolos is blessed with so many priestly vocations willing to work faithfully in His vineyard. However, even those who have expressed intentions to serve constantly ask: "What happens when priests get old and sickly?" This is a legitimate question which needs a realistic answer, a response that is concrete and tangible.
This gave birth to an idea of some priests to look for that tangible response for the benefit of our priests. Thus, the BAHAY-PARI NG BULAKAN FOUNDATION was perceived. This was later registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission with Reg. No. 96-00551 in the Philippines.
The said idea became more feasible when a 1.6 hectare lot in Barangay Malipangpang, San Ildefonso, Bulacan, was donated to the Foundation by Dr. Pag-asa Guanlao, out of her good will, for the purpose of building retreat homes for the old and sickly priests in the diocese.
The objectives of the Foundation:
1. To set up, administer, develop and raise funds for the Home of Old and Retired Priests of Bulacan, as well as for the sustenance of their well being;
2. To provide appropriate programs that will ensure beneficiaries their
spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental needs;
3. To establish, administer and maintain retreat centers as main source of income to finance the objectives of the Foundation;
4. To conduct studies and researches in line with the on-going formation of priests as prescribed by pertinent church of documents;
5. To acquire, purchase, own hold, operate, trade, or deal in manner permitted by law, real and personal property and to invest corporate fund in furtherance of the purposes and objectives of the Foundation.
The BAHAY-PARI NG BULAKAN FOUNDATION hopes to undertake its objectives by encouraging all parish associations civic organizations to support establishment of retreat centers. These centers shall ensure a steady financial support for the beneficiaries of the Foundation. For their part, a group of young priests of the Diocese of Malolos who call themselves "THE LEVITES" have pledged to make this foundation the perennial beneficiary of all their concerts.
