About Me:
Hmmm..well I'm your average 29 year old girl I reckon. Not average as in mediocre or lukewarm, just average in that I'm at the age where my life is starting to slow down and fall into place. Nesting is probably a good word to describe it. I am definitely not the rowdy girl I once was, although I am still one hyperactive bitch. Zany is probably the best adjective for me.
I love spending time with my boyfriend Patrick, our ever-growing menagerie of precious bubbies, and my family and good friends (although those seem to be few and far between the older you get).
Still hungry?
I recently rediscovered the joy of reading. I love shoes and purses.Target and Central Market are two of my biggest weaknesses. I love raw/filthy stand up comedy (I.E. Sarah Silverman). Dia De Los Muertos rocks my socks. I am obsessed with the Pacific Northwest. I love interior design. I can hardly wait to own my first home - and go completely ape shit at Ikea and West Elm. I rock the HTML. I am rarely without a digital camera in tow. I love the smell of brand new electronics and books. I don't eat meat or fish. I spend 4-5 days a week getting my sweat on at the Y. I once met Gary Oldman - and will gloat about it til the day I die. I prefer to eat out, as opposed to cooking. Dinner & wine with friends followed by a round of Scene It - is my cup of tea (as opposed to the bar/rock show stint I had going there for at least 7 years). I love spending hours at Half Price Books and finding out of print/rare vinyl. I am pretty much on top of anything celebrity gossip related. I will KICK your ass at celebrity or music related trivia. My fave magazines are Radar, Juxtapoz and US Weekly. I own over 1400 pieces of music if you include all formats (CD/Vinyl/Casette). I am allergic to Urban Outfitters and 99% of the people that frequent it. I have a great job as a graphic designer. And to top it all off - I have a wonderful, loving, sexy boyfriend.

was as socially awkward as they come,
but Alicia was always really nice to me.
We shared a hotel room on a school trip,
and Alicia and our roommates sexually
harassed a bunch of construction
workers who were working on the next
building. Oooh, saucy! What were a
bunch of junior high kids doing in New
Orleans, anyway?
dammit! hahahahaha. good times...
what ever happened to kelly barr?
love you alicia...
you are your own woman. dammit!
Stepp. It was the spring of '94. Indie
rock meant really noisy ugly music from
depressing towns, Seattle, Minneapolis,
etc. and the Toadies had sold nary a
record. She came into my record store
one evening with her boyfriend at the
time, and I would've sworn she was at
least 22, I guess it was the way she
carried herself and even more the
glasses she wore. Was I wrong. She
was only 16. Was I bummed to find out
the age difference. I thought she was
just adorable. And she's still adorable
10 years later (even during the Denton
punk rock days). I just love that Alicia
Stepp and I don't get to see her nearly
often enough. Even when we lived 4
houses away on Goodwin. I can also
definitely say she has some ipeccable
taste in music. If you haven't looked at
her list, do yourself a favor. She's one of
very, very few people who I feel rival
myself for diversity. Alicia, you are
wonderful and I miss you!!
xoxoxo
Randy Brown
time just like you and me. the
difference is that she makes gold
records...
and she's rad enough to realize
that "Real Genius" is exactly that...
and i heard that she once caught a
stegosaurus with her bare hands. then
ate the whole thing in one sitting...
i was 18. she was so hot and punk rock.
i was such a dork... not much has
changed.;o)
sexual maniac, she will have to prove
it, slowly, with no safety words.
Y'know, when I applied for the Army,
the interviewing Sargeant asked me if I
could kill a man. I said, "Yes, but it
would take days and days, Sir"
doesn't even talk to me anymore. How
sad is that?
