Favorite Books:
I like David Sedaris because I can appreciate how he'd think Anne Frank's attic could make a good apartment. I love Haruki Murakami because I feel like I can be one of his characters sometimes (we share a fondness for noodles). Malcolm Gladwell has been making me think a LOT about how we "tic" as people. Life of Pi and Battle Royale made my heart rip in bits as I read, as did The Rape of Nanking. And I'm currently in the middle of The Know-it-All: One Man's Humble Quest to be the Smartest Person in the World by A.J. Jacobs about his mission to read the complete set of Encyclopedia Brittanica and it's FREAKIN' HILARIOUS and highly relatable-cuz I'm always plagued by the notion that dammit, I wish I was smarter.

Favorite Movies:
Annie Hall, Amelie, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, Run Lola Run, The Big Lebowski, The Three Amigos, Edward Scissorhands, Elizabeth, Chungking Express, Battle Royale, The Princess Bride, Lost in Translation, Soapdish, Kill Bill, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The 40 Year Old Virgin and any movie that ends in a good party/dance number. If only real life was more like that. Ya???!!!

Yes, I am even MORE older than U now... and I always will be!!
mwahahahaha!!!
ourselves away from the intellectual
stimulation of New Jersey. But what I
don't love is that we're in expat mode, on
other sides of the world, not able to have
beer milkshakes in Red Hook. Ah,
those were the days.
