      • Yo, how do we have a shout out to
Roscoe's East and not to Bobby's
Department Store, holding it down on
        Church avenue at Buckingham Road
        and Utica Ave!?! And who
        Remembers "Deal Town" with locations
on Church ave and up by the junction.
and what about Lord's Bakery up by the
        Junction? What about Campus Sugar
Bowl that used to be on Campus Place
Right by brooklyn college? Matter of
fact, who remembers when you could
walk right through the brooklyn college
        campus without being a student?
        newschoolers... I swear.

      • You suckers. I've lived here for my
entire fucking life and will always call
Flatbush my home. This one goes out
to all my Peeps from p.s.139,
        A.S.Hudde JHS ( i think that I was the
only whiteboy with friends in V.I.P.), and
all of you toys that I topped or straight
up went over while piecing or bombing
the dead tracks. Also, R.I.P. to MGP,
a.k.a the Mean Guy Posse, flatbush's
        original posse who caught wreck
throughout the 80's and early 90's. And
to all of you hipsters who think Flatbush
is sweet, you better salute when you
see me, or you may not make it out of
the Veggie Castle Parking lot. By the
way, Roscoe's East is in EAST
Flatbush, our sister for sure, but not the
Main Man who put the Heart in Brooklyn.

      • i used to play futbol as a kid with the
Mexicans and dreads at the parade
grounds, there was this Jamacian kid
named Dino from Erasmus who was
our player coach, he helped to train our
rag-tag team, our original coach was
this African cat who worked as a
security guard in the boogie down, he
got shot or stabbed, and couldn't coach
our team anymore. I will always
remember Dino and Devron trying to
convince me that smoking weed was
good for soccer players cause it made
        your lungs stronger.... aaah Flatbush!

joke at the time: What do you call a
