I met Teneezy back in Ms. Hart's class
in the 7th grade. She was that girl
with the hair that matched her eyes.
She hates it when you tell her that.
Anyway, this young girl intrigued me.
Was it that we both thought Katy
McKegney was a skank? Was it that we
both shared a round of giggles after
Loreen was absent and we placed a sign
with her name on it in her seat? Maybe
her obsession with Silverchair touched
a special place in my heart. In any
case, she has always been the
originalist (?) spiffiest gal ever,
complete with a lunch box, nose ring,
and glasses without lenses. Remember
when I was one of those thousands of
7th grades who had a crush on Ryan
Wilkins? Hahah I'm so lame. Tenaynay
and I have remained friends even
though I went prep for a while. We
hungout even during my hippie phase.
Now that I'm 80's I know that
Tenacious will be there. I'm Madonna,
always changing, she's Britney, always
so damn sexy~!
She even came to see me in Seattle
with her cool friend Fern, I will
never forget that day we played phone
tag with that 7-11 pay phone when she
was on Queen Anne and I was stuck in
Crown Hill...but I made it and we went
to the frats and hungout at Greenlake.
Watch out Hunnington Beach, the
coolest girl in the world just moved
in and you better be ready!
