About Me:
Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang,also known as The Woman Pulled from My Rib in English,is an upcoming adaptation of Carlo J. Caparas' celebrated graphic novel.It is scheduled to air on GMA Network for an early 2009 release.This series will become the third series to star Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera,their earlier series proved to be both critically acclaimed and audience adored.
Originally set up for a February 9 premiere for an 80 episode series,but was moved a week early to February 2 after fan-requests.
Director Bernal explains the series to be an "action, suspense, drama ... underworld".It tells the story of Homer,a psychologist with a boring life,and his patient Proserfina - a man hater and a serial killer who murdered many she had relationship with.The two will also develop feelings for one another.But will Prosefina's new found love heal her hatred with men?

True to its word of providing first-class programs, inihahandog ng GMA Network ngayong February ang first prime time offering ng 2009, the newest action-suspense-drama on television -- Carlo J. Caparas's Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang.
Originally created for comics noong 1974 by the 2008 Sagisag Balagtas awardee and comics genius Caparas, Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang ay ginawa ring pelikula in 1981 starring Eddie Rodriguez and Vivian Velez.
GMA-7 updates the story with the deft hands of head writer RJ Nuevas, na siya namang pagagandahin pa lalo ni Bb. Joyce Bernal, ang direktor na nagdala sa tandem nina Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera from MariMar hanggang Dyesebel. This time, she will be joined by the suspense genius Topel Lee.
Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang is about family, destiny, secrets and deception. And sa version na ito ng GMA-7, the series will show that love is indeed the most powerful force on earth.
Sundan sina Homer and Proserfina as their lives and hearts intertwine. Homer is a young businessman who leads a systematic, monotonous and boring life while Proserfina is his exact opposite. Paano magkakasundo ang kanilang dalawang mundo na talaga namang magkaiba? Paano na magpapatuloy ang tahimik na pamumuhay ni Homer, now that he has crossed paths with the enigmatic charms of Proserfina, especially when Proserfina disappears just as quickly as she has arrived in his life? Mahahanap pa ba ni Homer si Proserfina? Will Homer be the one to get Proserfina to reveal her secrets?
