out a lot since I met him back in
1990...it may be true, but nothing about
his incredible passion for life and all
the things that make it worthwhile
(rock, art, friends, food, love,
adventure) has dimmed in the least. If
I had to repaint the Sistine, play to
the nosebleeds, hitchhike to Peru, or go
into exile, this is the man I'd grab.
He makes great salad, mix CDs, and life
suggestions. He's also got the
best-looking ears I've ever seen. And by
the way, that shit about the Scott
Gorham solos a
but I like to think that if i did, he wouldn't miss
a beat or say "you can't call me that." What a
nice, engaging fellow this is. The kind of
guy that a guy like me is happy to run into,
say, in a restaurant, or on the train. And he's
a fine songwriter to boot. Get yours today!
me when he lived in Boston thru J.A., a
froend he grew up with in NY. I though that
my knowledge of music was pretty deep, but
talking with the Dish and his brother taught
me otherwise. His breadth of bands,
players, etc. and enthusasium were
amazing. He could find so much stuff for
you to listen it was kind of hard to keep up. I
haven't seen him in a few years, but I don't
think that it would matter if I ran into him
tomorrow or in 5 years, I could still have a
good talk with this guy.
seen Chris. The last time, I was a
dork in middle school and he flipped
out when I said I didn't know who the
Ramones were and he proceeded to give
me a book on them. Well I'm still a
dork, but Chris was like the coolest
guy because he was very friendly to me
even though I must have had like 80
braces and headgear. I also remember
going to Quencher shows with Nonny, ha
ha! Those were the days. Rock on
Chris, hope all is well with you!
pure heart. He carries it with him
everywhere and lends it to anybody
