and cup after stupid cup of green tea
while I drove all my belongings across
the country. She has been my friend for
a staggeringly short amount of time,
and it feels like she has always been
there. She is an excellent geek and
lady extrordinaire. All hail Tracey,
one of the sanest, most excellent
people I know. Bleh!
when she came to hang out at my prom
they didn't even ask for her ticket,
they just drooled and stuttered
profusely. everyone in my town that
met her had an instacrush on her and
tried to win her. she then served as a
catalyst for social change in some
young greenwich quasi-punk boys by
demonstrating that she was whipsmart
and extremely clever as well. they
then expanded their brains to
include "smart" in their defintion of
fantasy girlfriend. but the real
treasure of tracey is that she is so
fun and sweet and genuine and such a
great friend but you already know that
if you're reading this.
friends. To be more long-winded: she's
wicked smart, fun and talented. She's
an amazing cook and has unbelievable
taste in movies. Most important, no
matter how stupid I am, she always
gives me the benefit of the doubt. On
top of all that, every Tuesday she
fills her apartment with monkeys and
watches kick-ass movies. Oh, and she's
always there when I need to bitch about
some totally and completely
pointless...which is a full-time gig.
Just ask her.
a liquor-laced secret truffle center,
she will refresh you then drive you
directly into torrid temptation-- if your
diet (and menu availability) allows,
be sure to indulge on this special,

things that I might not have had the
pleasure of thinking. I love her
writing, it is what drew me to her in
the beginning. Her thoughts on music,
her love of life and of food.
Restaraunts on Mulberry or the North
End, it's all the same, it doesn't
matter, as long as she is there. A wind
concerto in the park with lanterns
glowing and her eyes and smile far
brighter yet. In Life and/or Death you
will never meet another like her.
