About Me:
I'm a Scorpio/Sagittarius from Brooklyn. I like to play pool and I am a kick ass spades player. I love beer. I oppose the war in Iraq. I love to eat. I'm not the salad for dinner type. I prefer the Daily News to the weekday NY Times (which made an entire room cringe at journalism school). I'm goofy and strange. I'm really intense, in pretty much everything I do.

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone semi-sane, fun, intelligent, progressive. Recent events have led me to discover that the "I'm not looking for a relationship" crap is unacceptable - the line for booty calls starts over there somewhere and does not lead to me. Someone who believes that loyalty is more than a concept. Someone who is goofy yet witty and who will want to take me to Yankee games. Someone who will see that I get home when I've had too much to drink and won't judge me for drunken behavior!

she's seen me through my greatest triumphs
and my darkest times always there and
forever faithful. no matter where life takes us
i know she will always be one of my dearest
friends.
storyteller with a long memory, because
every time we hang out, she gets me so
irrefutably shitcanned (heather's word) that i
must depend upon her to recount the
deliciously amoral things we did and said
the night before. not only is heather a treat
with whom to while away a night in brooklyn,
but she is intensely loyal, a talented
journalist, and one of the most well-rounded
people i know. were it not for heather, i may
not have survived the critiques,
breakthroughs, and infantilization which
defined our first year of grad school.
knowing heather means i can look forward
to commiserative cocktails paid for by the
paltry writers' salaries we are destined to
command until we up and hijack the conde
nast building so we can put out a family of
magazines for smart women with sick shoe
habits.
