About Me:
Satya is a 3rd year undergraduate who's doing a BSc in Physics in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He's had the pleasure of spending most of his life in Melaka, Malaysia, and claims this to be his hometown much to the dismay of the Melakan public.
He enjoys the company of the opposite sex, and other things, the full list of which would be long enough to write a book about. Particularly he still enjoys chess and debating. He's finally got back to debating, and has pretty much sold his soul to debates (and he even pays the price willingly!) but still isn't playng much chess nowadays. Anyone interested in correspondence chess, do let him know.
He's single, available and thinks himself rather dashing, though he's found this view is not shared by the majority of his friends (among whom Marina comes to mind), acquaintances, and the general public.
He thinks if you can't make fun of yourself, you have no right to make fun of others. He does plenty of the latter and perhaps not enough of the former.
Nowadays he questions a lot of things in life. He wants to learn about other religions and strengthen his knowledge of his own (He's Hindu). Also, he loves physics. He thinks it's a great way to figure out the Laws of the universe. He thinks that science and spirituality need not be in conflict and can go hand in hand to help us understand God and the universe. He thinks a closed mind is like a closed door, not allowing traffic either way, so he tries to keep his open. He wants to be a writer.
He thinks we live in a sadly messed up world, but those of us with any sense should do their small part to make it better. He doesn't claim to have much success (yet) on this front.
He's basically a fun-loving guy, and just another traveller on the journey of life. He'd like to dedicate this to his parents, friends, Coldplay, Manchester United, and the memory of JRR Tolkien. He sincerely hopes the rain in Spain will continue to stay mainly on the plain.
