      • I met Aubri the very first day of college,
        back when she had long blond hair and
        wore it in two braids. She gives
        excellent piggy back rides and is quite
        adept at swinging me around like a rag
        doll. She was one of the most constant
        parts of my life at Oberlin, and I love her
        dearly.

      • Ahhh, my Aub-ums. This girl and I have
        known each other since....oh, let's
        see....6th grade? Yeah, that's it. We've
        been through so many crazy fights and
        make-ups and all sorts of shit together.
        Had our fair share of ups and downs, but
        the two of us both know that either of us
        would do damn well anything for the
        other. We're just that close.
        I miss her terribly now that she's off
        making her life in China and finding her
        own path. I'm glad she's still alive and is
        surviving quite splendidly there, even
        though we know some people who had
        their doubts. ;-)
        Will never forget all the fun parties, or
        that night in Sacketts down by the lake,
        or our need to be seated as far away
        from old people and children as possible
        in public places due to our utter lack of
        concern for people's ears (OUR SEX
        TALKS, OH THE SADNESS...>I MISS
        THE SEX TALKS!).
        I love you to death, mi chica. Miss you
        something fierce.

      • Aubri = awesometastic. She offered
        much-needed Oberlin-ness (and tequila
        and a couch to crash on) to her fellow
        upstate-NY Obiegraduate. Living next
        door to her at Oberlin rocked, both
        with the great parties and with the
        late-night hanging out on the porch &
        whatnot.

        And she's a complete theater badass.

        of our dearly departed president

      • I remember many times when Aubri has
        given soothing advice in times of
        crisis. Aubri definitely keeps her
        cool. I hope she has fun in Bortugal
        this summer, before going to chinois.

        Fortunately, a little of both. A
        mysterious tall babe with a sultry
        come-hither stare and a cute meow.
        What do I dig about Aubri? Many
        things, but it's probably a combo of
        her eyes and her total unwillingness
        to put up with any of my bullshit,
        which is good for us both, no doubt.
        What does she dig about me? She digs
        my spicy eating habits, my insomnia,
        and most of all my scratchy, seldom-
        shaven face. See? I know her well.
        Oh so very well. If she were a
        fictional character she'd be FLCL's
        Haruko, if she were a video-game
        character she'd be Seung Mina, and if
