This is what I am...Oriented the live by real live that what I've seen, it's change my live forever, sometimes I like a bastard(when I see crime happens), sometimes like a lonely guy (cause something lost from my soul)...may be there's no good that you look at me... Just My heart's still good...!!! When I remember my Band Of Brothers (1st Sqd. GFTS) "The key to creating a successful experience simulation is to have all –if not most participants have the same ideal that each and everyone of them play not for their own enjoyment but for others’. And others will do and provide the same for them. You don't play for yourself. This is whay in this type of gameplay, we never had any 'zombie' problems.;) A great game is where you get the most exciting and perhaps dramatic experience, albeit an acted one. That should be everybody’s goal in the game, to create a dramatic or exciting situation. So with that in mind, sometimes completing your mission, or even shooting down an ‘enemy’ will not be in the best interest of the game. There will be times when you miss the enemy by purpose, there will be times when you deliberately put yourself and your squad in a bad pinned down position. Why do this when you can just run and gun and win? Because it’s simply more exciting and dramatic, thus you go home with more memorable stories. Just ask our good admins, our most memorable moments in an airsoft wargame is when we are pinned down, surrounded, or simply being put under siege. Nothing like being hunkered down under a barrage of BBs while waiting for the cavalry. We lost so many times, but hell, you just can’t deny the thrill and suspense of being surrounded in the woods. The funniest memories are times when one of use surrendered to the opfor, being tied, interrogated in a silly way. Or that time when that crazy dude suddenly gears down and disguises himself as a native farmer and almost got away with it. And who can forget the time when we put vietnamese marching song on the speakers on top of the watch tower? Surely even the corniest stuff works, for example, when ol’ lambchop got hit, he just droppped dead and won’t let us carry him back. He simply took this small envelope from his pocket, with badly acted dying breath he asked us to give the letter to his girl back home. Everyone contibutes to creating a dramatic situation. Even when we’re on a break we’d find sir redfox sitting under a tree, writing a letter home on a piece of paper, red glow illuminated from his L flashlight. I didn’t do much, I simply brought an old issue of Playboy to brighten the day. And oh, always carry a candy bar. You never know if you’ll run into local children. The old hearts and minds stuff you see in movies, a soldier tearing the wrappers of a lame Hershey bar and offering it to the scared kid? We did that too. You’ve seen it in the movies, now experience it first hand in a simulation. It;s hard not to giggle though. Is it the gears and uniformity? Perhaps no, but it surely helps create the atmosphere when you not only play the part, but also ‘look’ the part. It will feel more real when you see the guys properly dressed. Do you have to have a crew cut hair to play? Surely no, but it does wonders to help maintain the illusion. Dreadlocks doesn’t say GI. Is the game 100% scripted? Of course not, but it is directed none the less. One thing for sure, you can’t just gather guys and expect to have a good experience simulator. Players should know each other well first, and if everyone is on board with the idea, you’ll soon discover another fun side of airsoft... Writted by : Raya Fahreza aka Papa Bear A-ID Board Advisor.
