About Me:
I would
consider myself as someone who has their crap together. I
work full time and take great pride in my work (not to be
confused with work-a-holic). I bought a house over 3
years ago here in Austin and feel I have been blessed with
an outgoing personality and a good deal of common sense.
(and I have had some amazing mentors as well!!!) I love to
see new things and experience those with people I
care for. I am coming to realize the true friends I have
here in Austin as I just switched jobs. Life in Austin is amazing and I could not imagine living anywhere else...well, maybe Boone, NC. UPDATE - I am in California now...sold the house and now renting a condo that cost more than my mortgage (ugh). Anyway, I really miss Austin and I miss my friends back there. About me - hmm, I think of myself as Brian Kinney...but then look in the mirror and see Michael Novotny (you either get that or you don't...don't ask). I moved out here for work and I like it so far. I am not your stereotype but I love to have fun and meet new people.

Who I Want to Meet:
Well, I just moved to Southern California...I can't believe I am saying that...I never thought I would say that (for God's Sake, I learned how to milk a cow in high school...and drove a school bus on one lane dirt roads in North Carolina). Anyway, so far...so good. I miss SEASONS more than anything...it gets kind of boring being "80 and Sunny" everyday. I have no clue what I am looking to meet...no clue. Maybe I will figure it out once I find it.

or that's the only assumption i can make when he wears not one, not two, but three (3!) shirts with the word "texas" printed on them in some form or another...
Wayward Boys - it's like the Boys and
Girls Clubs of America but without all
the poverty and girls. You can watch
movies with friends, paint a room, fix
a toilet, listen to wrestling, play
parlor games, sleep really late,
socialize with friends, and meet new
people, all without the awkwardness of
proper attire. The door is always open
(one way or another), and there's no
such thing as a stranger.
Whether you're lost, just travelling
through, interested in meeting new
people, or just plain Canadian,
Parker's South Austin Home for Wayward
Boys is a must stop.
