destination: OUR sort of kind of not really unsophisticated LIFE. Ü

WE are a congregation of students in a solitary classroom together with our supportive and fair mentor.
and mind you, we are not just a group of students.
we are twenty-eight single schoolchildren rolled into one.
whatever may be the issue we shall share one common danger, one safety :)

as our enthusiasm goes on, we grew together, like to a group of cherries, seeming parted, but yet
a union in partition -- twenty-nine lovely berries moulded on one stem;
so, with twenty-nine seeming bodies, but one heart; twenty-nine of the first, like coats in heraldry, due but to one, and crowned with one crest :))

one man may hit the mark, another blunder; but heed not these distinctions. only from the alliance of the one, working with and through the other, are great things born - US.

and as we spend every split second with each other, we are no longer called classmates.
we already label ourselves brothers and sisters :)
we are a single soul dwelling in twenty-nine bodies.
There is nothing we like to see so much as the gleam of pleasure in a person's eye when he feels that we have sympathized with him, understood him.
at these moments something fine and spiritual passes between twenty-nine friends.
these are the moments worth living. Ü
we have been F R I E N D S.
that in itself is a tremendous thing. we wove our webs for each other because we liked each and every one of us.
after all, what's a life, anyway? we're born, we live a little while, we die.
a spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies.
by helping each other, perhaps we were trying to lift up our lives a trifle. heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.

ABOVE ALL..
we would like to devulge our benediction to our enthusisatic teacher,
MS. ANA RIZA AUTENCIA
first and foremost..
S H E sees each student as an individual with hopes, dreams, strengths, and vulnerabilities.
in her classroom, each student is treated as an invaluable, essential member of the class, a person capable of success, a person with something important to contribute.
S H E works to create a classroom atmosphere in which every student sees every other student in this light – an atmosphere in which respect for each other is the guiding principle, an atmosphere in which every student feels safe enough to share their thoughts and feelings, an atmosphere in which making a mistake is seen as an opportunity to learn rather than an opportunity to feel like a failure :)
