More About Aaron
-
Occupation:
Literary Manager
-
Hobbies and Interests:
Most of what I do involves theater in some way, reading, watching, working, & writing about it, but I also enjoy anything that shows me things & ideas that I've never seen or thought of.
-
Favorite Books:
Most of my favorite books are by men, and a lot of those men are dead. But not all dead men wrote good books. I like a good story more than a good phrase.
-
Favorite Movies:
I watch too many movies, & I have too-high standards (this means I like artsy crap). When did Hollywood movies stop bothering to make any sort of sense whatsoever? Anyhow, gangsters & cowboys & spacemen & flying carpets & happy love & sad love too.
-
Favorite Music:
Most of the rock, jazz, & pop I listen to was made in the 50s & 60s. I'd like to hear more Indian & classical music. I like melody & a good swinging beat. I enjoy dancing, but I'm better with old music than modern dance music.
-
Favorite TV Shows:
When I was a kid, I watched TV for hours. Now, I can't figure out why. I mute commercials. My only habit is The Daily Show. I'll watch ballgames. I loved Buffy & await more Sopranos. But generally, no thanks.
-
About Me:
Somehow, I manage to take life, theater, politics, etc. way
too seriously. But I have a good sense of humor about
everything else. I like hikes in the park & scotch on the
rocks. My New Year's resolution for the last 13 years has
been to learn to surf. I'd like to jump out of a plane
someday. I love children, esp. in a curry sauce. I'm an
optimist about people & a pessimist about the world.

Testimonials and Comments for Aaron
know. He's socially fearless and he strongly
stands by his beliefs. I feel privileged to
have worked with him. I hope he and I say
in touch into our nineties. And now for the
obligatory joke: He's a good man to have by
your side in a circle jerk where when I get
nervous, he strokes my back and tells me it's
all gonna be ok.
