About Me:
I am a singer and a trombone player. I spend a lot of time making music with lots of different people. I also do what I have to do to make enough money to keep playing as much music as I do; sometimes I teach music, other times I work in offices or freelance as a desktop publisher, I have waite tables, and occasionaly bleached my hairs white and masqueraded as Santa.
PS: I do not visit FRIENDSTER much anymore but do spend an inordinate amount of time on TRIBE. You can find me there, here: http://people.tribe.net/c4747d80-1bf3-4a36-87c2-44c3590c0421

chosen family. He's wonderfully
talented (and that only STARTS with
being able to balance any object on his
chin), prodigiously (sometimes
ferociously!) bearded, a warm, generous
host, loyal, devoted friend, sometimes
shy but nonetheless a gifted flirt.
Like Deidre, I've had the pleasure of
singing with Jerry and he's very
welcoming of anyone who loves music and
wants to sing. Jerry has a lust for
life, and life has a lust for him.
(Apologies to Donald Barthleme--read
his short story, "The End of the
Mechanical Age" to find the reference.)
call a "slow burn". He's not flashy
and intense, but warm, easy going and
steady. He has always made me feel
like I have a good friend in him, no
matter what. He is someone who doesn't
expect me to be anything but myself,
and that is good enough for him.
I've hung with him drunk, sober, happy,
sad, pissed, and playful. Each Jerry
is unique and wonderful in his own
way. We have sung together and he has
never made me feel silly for trying to
sing, or that I have no business
singing, and for a musician like
him...that is high praise!
He is a real person, a true friend and
a beautiful spirit. That's solid gold
in this sad, sorry world.
