      • The best best friend in the history of the world.
        A fabulous writer, performer and producer. More
        important, my source of inspiration, insight and
        support. Most important of all, Christy is the
        only person with whom I can share both types of
        pie, apple and the other kind, the one we seem
        to have too much of these days. And in case
        anyone wonders, Christy also makes a
        delightful roommate (not what you're thinking,
        she does as has already been pointed out, like
        boys).

      • I saw Christy tell jokes at Lulus Blue
        Plate (RIP) and I said to
        myself, "Nice boobs." Then we hung out
        at the Laundromat and kicked it comedy-
        wise and I thought, "she's funny."
        After seeing her picture, I am forced
        to revert to my original statement.

        doing comedy while standing in front of
        a unisex pay toilet in a Wiltern Arena-
        sized room of clothes washing machines
        to a half Spanish-only-speaking crowd,
        a delight and a joy. And her photo
        features stellar cleavage!

      • Christy scores points first off because her name is
        Christy. That's my Mom's name. So I like her
        because of that. Then, one summer, she took me
        on a tour of Laundromats all across the Southern
        California area. It was a road trip on a grand scale.
        I've never forgotten those weeks. She also is the
        only other comedy booker I know with the guts to
        book an all Comedy Music night at her venue. Ya
        gotta love that. She's also totally cute and I'd
        totally date her, but that's where her having my
        mom's name makes things creepy and awkward. I
        can only hope for a name change!

        sister can have. She's super funny &
        even though she's not athletic, is a
        great sport! The best way to describe
        Christy is she's Johnny Carson &
        Ron Popeil rolled into one. See for

      • Here's the deal, kids. Christy is the
        best. She's tremendously funny in her
        own right, a genuine star among stars.
        She runs a comedy show that still
        stands as one of the finest
        instruments ever devised for
        separating a comedian from his self-
        esteem, and does it with grace and
        style. She deals patiently and evenly
        with comics, not by and large an easy-
        going lot. And last I heard, she likes
        boys. Keep it up Christy, a grateful
        nation salutes you!
