personally witnessed her change a flat
tire on the side of the 210 freeway
while dressed in a long skirt, velvet
waistcoat and 3 heeled boots, and she
did not *once* smudge her makeup. I
mean, how's that for g0+h<0r3 ?
than I can imagine possible. Her work
and spirit will leave you captive,
spellbound and renewed. Her
friendship is beauty, her words are
careful and blessed by all those who
know her. I wish we didn't live so
far away -- she always has a home with
us in DC!

declawed,purring loudly.ryka is these
things and her poetry makes me
swoon.delicate soft and raw,edgey,
intense,truth to power,the sparkly sheen
of rebirthing goo on butterfly
wings,tranformative.gothic and
light-beaming don't usually go
together,but ryka is that,
unique.genius.poetgoddessupershero. the
silken thread through the needle's
prickled eye.ILOVERYKA!!!i will kick
anyone's ass who hurts her and be
suspicious of all who are not under her
spell.maybe that's a warning,i don't know.
metaphors, I am going to use one now
and say that Ryka has the largest heart
of anyone I know. She regularly drops
by my apartment and whisks me away for
a wild night of debauchery on the
town. She's kept me well-fed and
introduced me to countless new places
all over LA. Ryka is one who has great
visions and knows how to carve them
into reality. Beyond all she is warm,
compassionate, and intense. And she's,
like, my sister, and I love her.

her, but we have had the best
conversations, and I walked away
feeling just a little more enlightened
as a human being.
