All my family and friends call me Bonny at home. My main focus in life is my family, happiness, acting, modeling, and completing my education. I did want to become a doctor but after I became a Commerce graduate, I found my calling. When I was 17 years old, I won the Famous Ford Supermodels Contest. I was convinced by friends to participate in the Tulips Miss Super Vivacious contest and won.
I was then spotted by Steven Mizhel who is a world famous photographer and was then featured in Vogue... In the States, I had worked with a topmost modeling agency Ford located in New York, but I became very homesick and missed my family very much. After finishing up a modeling assignment in Paris, I returned home.
In India, I've been starring in Hindi movies, and I love taking risks and not always taking the typical roles that are offered. I've been criticized for taking on too many sexy roles, but I believe by taking risks, we can open up doors and be real. I once said "Sexy in India, is not considered positive. But, with todays crop of fresh faces, in the modeling arena, being sexy is an asset."
I love to play all types of roles, and the ones I just happened to do were considered sexy. If you give flop films here you are rated a top actress. But if you really work hard on your characters you are still considered a sex symbol and nothing else. I've been know to be capable of handling complex roles that demand strict histrionics.
I thought that having no filmi background or no "godfather" to help me into the industry would be difficult to get recognition after starring in my first few roles. Thankfully, it did not turn out that way.

I want to meet all my fans out there, and all my fellow actors and actresses who I look up to and admire! All you fans are great because I really only care what you all say, not what the press makes up. Thanks for your support, and there are so many talented men and women out there, if you try hard, you CAN make it big, I am a true believer.
