About Me:
well folks, i did it. i picked up and moved from wash dc to portland or. it was kind of like that dr. seuss book says, "the time had come, so marvin went." except marvin is such an awful name. but i digress...
anyway, it's very early in our relationship, but i think i might be in lovelovelove with the PDX. and am so glad to be here. dc produced too much of a belle and sebastian "get me away from here i'm dying" kind of thing for me.
those people that try and tell you that it's the same everywhere, and that it's what you make of it, and all that crap. well, it's crap. largely, anyway. and that was never more clear to me than when i was driving all the way across this big country on my way out here.
one last thing i'll say about all of this, it feels really good to give in to what you've been wanting and to finally make it happen.
