About Me:
I can finally call myself a writer without having to follow up with a "but I do ____ on the side to pay for it," so I have a big head these days. But normally I hide my too-high confidence better. I listen well, and I find listening skills rare and admirable in others. I'm observant to a fault (half the time I'm unstoppably gregarious, but the other half I'm fairly quiet because I'm taking too much in to put anything back out). My best days are always spent around a lot of other people. I'm out for the 'new thing' and determined when I start to pursue it. Challenge, and the self-possession to pursue it, are important to me. And yeah, you might have detected a serious streak. But, like most generally serious people, I can be silly as anything. Call it self-preservation. http://www.eliotschrefer.com

Who I Want to Meet:
I adore vitality and uniqueness, which in this case are just synonyms for intensity and complexity. I'm pathologically open-minded, and I love for a relationship to take me in unexpected directions. But most importantly, I treasure an ability to get beyond yourself. My best relationships are with the risk-taking actor, the obsessed grad student, the social worker. There's a whole lot more out there than ourselves and the search for our own satisfaction. Oh, and fun is key.
