About Me:
I'm a former almost-alternakid who never had quite enough alternative cred to really walk the walk - what with my collections of showtunes and "performance choir"-lovin'ways. I have fairly fierce hometown and commonwealth pride, but I can't deny that a bit of my heart got left behind in SoCal from my years there.
It's June 2007, and I realized that I hadn't spent any QT with my Friendster profile lately. After learning that I feel irrationally awkward changing my "relationship status" for any reason, good or not-so-good, on any sort of social networking site, I thought I'd change my Friendster status to "it's complicated", to be used forever, even if it's not complicated. However, I now see that they have trademarked the phrase "it's complicated," which I find funny and bizarre in a way that I can't really put into words with my current tiredness level here at the start of a tech week. So, since I can't bring myself to have a trademarked relationship status, I can at least update my profile to include an overly long description about a decision that's probably not meant to have that much thought put into it. Which probably goes a long way in describing me anyway...
New for 2007, though, is that "angst" is now gone from my hobbies and interests! Who would've thought it? Don't worry, though, it's just in relation to my own life - I still love a good super-angsty coming-of-age story (in the form of a book, movie, 1980s miniseries with Richard Chamberlain & Rachel Ward, or you telling me yours).

See CHAD. What a great pair.
the Heartland: The Loren & Marissa Story"--
introduced to the wider public in the
novelization form--it will be divulged in the
final chapter, but before the epilogue, that
these two women did indeed meet initially in
childhood when Loren pulled Marissa's
braided pigtail while refusing to clean up the
building blocks in Mrs. Hamm's Montessori
class. Now in their sixties, reunited in post-
ironic glory across that wide span of
American soil, they mended any and all
bruises correlating to the unfortunate hair-
pulling incident by raiding Dolly Parton's
basement storage chamber of horsehair wigs
(!) and meticulously pulling each strand from
said piece with aplomb--and Fuller Brush
tweezers.
and people, a clear radiant energy...
"Often we think of egolessness as
a great loss, but really it is a gain. It
is like regaining eyesight after having
been blind, or regaining hearing after
having been deaf. Egolessness has
been compared to the rays of the
sun. For there is no solid sun, so the
rays just radiate outward. In the
same way, wakefulnes naturally
radiates outward when we are not so
concerned with our selves.
Egolessness is the same thing as
basic goodness or buddha nature, our
unconditional being. It is what we
always have and never lose."
Is that why being around her feels
so good?
many ways. she is a very talented
actress! She is also a great friend to
have! I also love when Marissa gets
excited and uses the word "like" a
million times. I love Marissa! she is
so much F.U.N !!!!
