About Me:
i signed up for friendster a long time ago and had fun for a couple days then abandoned it. now i have something to say and i'm back.
the above checkboxes indicate that there are only seven reasons why i would want to meet someone. therefore, i chose the most unspecific of checkboxes, "just looking around". however, i want it to be known here and now that i am not interested in "just looking around". I am here for one reason and one reason only. and that is to share this story:
Recently I was taking a casual stroll down sunny Venice Beach when I spotted a man holding a fistful of pamphlets. Typically it is difficult to discern the crazies from the prophets in Venice Beach but something about this mans face laid to rest any doubts of his sanity. As I approached him, he handed me a pamphlet. Written on the front page in plain black letters were the words "The Truth about Circumcision". "It's a sensitive issue," he remarked through a half smile.
His genial, laid back personality belied the gravity and urgency of his crusade. Although I soon lost the pamphlet and forgot much of its contents, I find myself left with a few pieces of wisdom that have forever changed my life. First, the Jews are to blame. Second, feel sorry for the uncircumcised boy in the gym showers who faces ridicule because he is "normal" and beautiful. Third, babies feel pain too. Finally, reverse circumcision surgery is not a half baked dream but an attainable reality.
So, please, let out the truth about circumcision. It is a fad just like pogs and ipods. I, for one, will never forgive my mother for what her trend-sense-formed circumcision stance has taken away from me. And to all the uncircumcised men out there: stay strong, and please consider becoming an organ donor if you are not already; you could donate a foreskin that could change a life.
