save birthday cards but I could never
throw out a Matt "Regular" work of
birthday card art. He made me a tribute
to hair metal bands and New Kids on the
Block one year and many inspired
collages of pop culture and sheer
punkness. I remember sitting in his
closet in the 10th grade laughing our
asses off at a Strawberry Alarm Clock
record. Many suburban homes felt the
wrath of our vandalistic desire to
build a formidable collection of stolen
lawn ornaments. He used to wear Vision
Street Wear pants. Even if I only see
Matt once a year, he'll always be my
friend.
