      • while taking a walk in a quiet tuesday evening last dec. 22. and looking around for a new place to hang out over a cup of coffee.. we randomly entered this strange place named zulu....upon entry.. i fell at awe by the cozy setting of the place, the ambiance is euphoric.. and addictive too.. hehe... since then i started to bring my friends along.. so.. right now.. when we think of a place to chat without having to endure the smoky noisy distractions in other cafes.. zulu alwaz.. as in alwaz.. came first thing on our minds.. me and my friends are looking forward to more memorable coffee experiences in this heavenly place..

      • About Me:

There's no need to go to another coffee shop when looking for a place to unwind, have dinner, chit-chat w/ friends and even stretch your weary legs after 8 or so hrs. of work. There's only Zulu - which by the way means "people of Heaven" in South Africa. The place is an exotic, african-inspired coffee and tea resto. It is located inside Diamond Subd. in Balibago, Angeles City & is open every night from 5:00 pm onwards. Owner Alwin Anicete, who seems to have exquisite taste in terms of interior design & landscape- is the man behind Zulu's unique safari concept. The over-all ambience is really pleasant & cozy matched w/ your favorite bossa nova songs in the background running all through the night. Allan Garcia, co-owner, is the one in charge of the savory dishes lining some of his own specialties. Both Alwin & Allan wanted to have aplace where they can have a good time w/ friends minus the loud music and hardcore booze. Hence, Zulu Coffee & Tea was born. - by: Joann Manabat, Pampanga News Lifestyle, June 14-20, 2007 alalalala

      • Who I Want to Meet:

Zulu Coffee & Tea is special, because it's the only concept coffee house in Angeles City right now. The setting is originally Alwin Anicete's ancestral home, tha amiable co-owner of Zulu. Sitting on a garden, evocating the illusion of being in the jungle, Zulu Coffee & Tea is the newest cosmopolitan oasis for the city's growing yuppie class. This attraction is in itself a treat. It has a relaxing ambience, perfect to laze the night out after some grueling hours at the office. Patrons find Zulu a refuge against the city's hustle and bustle ways - soft music, good food, even a waterfall in the middle of the garden, and the flair of having privacy and exclusivity - these all add to its overall charm and appeal. - by: Dennis Dungao, Malaya newspaper, February 22, 2007.
