About Me:
Living in San Diego trying to figure out how do do my work and go out and meet new people. Interested in hanging out some time?
Was working in Japan for 4 years. Okayama was a nice place to be, well except for the heat and humidity. I am a simple, nice guy that can't spell. I enjoy martial arts (trained for around 10 years), philosophy and history. I love talking about different topics with informed people. But mainly willing to chat about almost anything with someone who wants to talk. I am the more strong silent type though when compared to my friends. I think before I act, well most of the time anyway.
Ok some questions people in Japan always ask. Or at least my Jr high kids I teach ask them. My blood type is A-. I am the confused fish (pisces). I am currently single. Yes I like beer. I think it is kinda impossible to work in Japan and not be able to drink at all. Yeah it just wouldn't work. Humm...
Currently still working on getting my Japanese perfect. I can do normal everyday conversations but some of the technical words and specific words I am still learning.
I am currently getting all of my stuff together to apply for grad school. Hoping to study International Relations with a focus on Space and Security

Who I Want to Meet:
Kind, compassionate, and willing to talk about things. Basically a big heart is a plus everything else can normally be worked out later. I am open to meeting anyone so long as she can keep up a conversation. I deal with what people think, more then what they look like. But I have to admit I fall for my fair share of lovely faces. I'm only human. What can I say, I am a simple guy. I'm not a huge drinker and don't use drugs so kinda looking for the same. But have all types of friends from the hard drinkers to the non-drinkers. So drop me a line should any of what I have said spark a thought.

down-to-earth and genuine, Brian is
super fun to hang with. I love
running into him on Sproul or this
semester in one of my classes because
he's always got something interesting
to say. How many guys do you know
that say what they mean, and more
importantly, mean what they say?
how much can a guy know about Japan?
It's so wonderful to meet someone with
such respect for another culture and
it's a shame more people can't be like
Brian. If there's anyone you'd like
to meet who can tell you the ups and
downs of Japanese culture, Brian's
your man. You're a great guy, Brian,
and I'm sure you'll always be.
Brotherhood. Well, hes an interesting
guy, even for a lowly History
major. :) jk. I hope you have a
great time in Japan dude. Remember,
they just LOOK like jailbait.
curious document called the "Cheng-
Mallis Manifesto," which is destined
to change the face of Phi Alpha Theta
forever! :-P Other than that, Brian
was a great help to the club last
year. He was essential for kicking
people out of a classroom when we
needed it for our events (all of the
rest of us were scared to do it).
Brian is also great to talk to, and
has a good sense of humor.
really talk to ask for a new, deeper
perspective on things (perhaps your
philosophical background? hehe).
Although we haven't known each other
for a long time, I am very glad that I
got to know him (and know him well, not
just as people saying 'hi'). He is a
true friend, a true ally, someone that
you know you could rely on when you
need help. Thank you for being there
when I needed you Brian, and just know
I'm always open to talk to and I'll
always be there to be your friend too.
=D
He'll rock you if you try and mess
with him and any of his friends. That
includes me so if you mess with me you
gotta deal with this guy's sword
talents. That and this guy never
gives up. Really cool rockin' dude.
Japanese class just got OWNED.
my friend's dorm (cause it was his friend's too)
just sitting there, and i said something to the
effect of "who the fuck are you?" and he just
laughed. he intrigues me. some one you want
to sit down and share life stories with. plus
he's just cool to hang out with. all ye locals,
take advantage.
since I met him, I've been given
different way of viewing life. Whether
it's martial arts, history, or just
interesting philosophies, he always
has something new to contribute. I
also find it refreshing to find
someone that uses the word 'dude'
about as much as I do.
fraternity brother and friend. He is
this weird guy that always talks about
strange things. He knows a bunch of
facts and will probably beat you in a
game of trivia pursuit. I am his barber
and I must say, his hair is pretty easy
to cut. He can't cook or play pool very
well, but he is still my friend.
