About Me:
My friends are important to me. Music is important to me. Books are important to me. I'm neat and organized, but not compelled to impose that on others. I have a large amount of obscure trivia in my mind. I like cats and don't care for dogs. I'm fussy about food, but trying to broaden my tastes. I don't smoke. I love my new hometown, Seattle, and my old home in the Boston/New England area. I enjoy driving. I can't talk about professional sports. I'm liberal Roman Catholic (more liberal than Catholic). I'm French-Canadian by descent, but speak only rudimentary French (my reading comprehension is better). I'm honest to a fault, but I have a sense of tact. Although I often seem like a serious person, I take myself less seriously than many people realize. I come from a loud family and can be quite loud around people I know well, yet I've been described as soft-spoken.

Who I Want to Meet:
If I don't already know you outside Friendster, I will not add you as a friend. If you're looking for romance but you're not living in Seattle, I probably will not respond to your messages.
Dating-wise, a woman around my age or younger, non-smoker. Someone who shares some of my musical tastes, and likes to catch club shows and go dancing occasionally. Someone who finds wordplay and obscure reference jokes amusing. Ideally someone who likes gaming (role-playing games), but I'd be happy with someone who simply understands it's not something I 'ought to grow out of.' Preferably someone not allergic to cats, as I now have one of my own.

Testimonials and Comments for Philip
testimonial for Phil... *sobs* i'm a
horrible friend and Phil is so great!!

this, but he is one of my favorate
people (OK NOW he does). He came across
very quiet and precise when I first met
him, but likeable, being with him is
very different from the rowdy
socializing I am used to. I have a lot
of respect for the man...he has a sly
and dry sense of humor and a sharpness
of mind that becomes increasingly
apparent to me over time. He has read
so many fantastic books, has GREAT
music taste, and has a wit and
intellect that will be perfect for
Godparenting duties...OrkGrrl's freshly
made soul will have a fabulous guide.
learned to trust Phil's indie-fu
greatly. Every time I ride in his car,
I discover another cool band.

here, gives me a hearty handshake and shares
a haggis supper, I refuse to believe ANY of
them!
the godfather of our baby. We did not
make this decision lightly: we wanted
someone trustworthy and loyal, yet fun
and whimsical. Phil is a great person
with whom to go shopping and eat
dessert afterward. He claims he
doesn't really know how to cook, but
recently he made chicken cordon bleu
for 10 friends. We were all impressed.
Now that he has a blender in his
apartment, he can make frozen
mudslides.
Phil in person once, but he was a
sweetie.
And he's very nice.
funny, creative... and I hear he once
killed an alien ninja with his bare
hands. You better believe the alien
had it coming, too. Phil is a staunch
defender of humanity and would never
let some Arcturan slime-monster push
Earth around, no matter how many
tentacles it had.
