and, believe me, that's not saying much.
repossesses his tv from his ex-
girlfriend's ex-roommate. he is
instead the kind of man who apologizes
profusely for taking back the tv, when
he's already lent it to you for much
longer than you reasonably could've
hoped. he's also the kind of man who
consistently makes multi-layered witty
comments that you think (and laugh)
about days later. so perhaps it's not
a surprise that dan writes a mean
headline (but not mean in the sense
that it hurts someone's feelings --
unless it is a very bad someone who
deserves to have his feelings hurt. be
forewarned: though he is generally
kind, dan can be ruthless when it
comes to very bad people.)
And good taste in film. And a nice Bernal
Heights mansion. And, principles, he's got
those too (an increasingly rare thing). But
seriously, Dan is a "good egg" and I'm glad
to know him. Long live Dan.
