Well, okay, so I'm not Philadelphia. But, hey, we can't all be, you know. And I do have my own charms: Every spring, my rose gardens play host to happy newlyweds. Every winter, my Lights in the Parkway fill the hearts of small children with joy. My Mayfair floods the air with music, and stuffs happy patron's bellys with Yeungling lager and funnel cake. My PP&L stands proudly erect, guarding over my sleeping citizens like a sentry throughout the starry night. My Yocco doggie packs keep warm the homesick traveler in terrains as far off Iceland. My Cedar Beach embraces the winter-shy geese of Canada. My Great Fair erupts my sweet slumber and stirs me to a roaring Carnival. My theatre on 19th st. brings a touch of avant garde to the starving senses of my populous. I'm Allentown, Goddamitt, and I'm Proud!
