The Accretia were once biological entities, but they shed their frail bodies in favor of cybernetic implants. They now start life as biological entities, grown in labs and educated to follow the primary Accretian creed. There are no individuals in the Empire; all must work together in service to the state. At their coming of age, all their biological body parts are replaced with machinery, making the individual a fully functioning Accretian warrior. The big lure of playing the Accretians is access to technology and guns that are unavailable to any other race, culminating in the mighty "Launchers" – enormous shoulder-mounted cannons. THE BELLATO FEDERATION The Bellato Union brings an element of balance to the war on Novus. Engineers and traders by nature, this race of opportunists have entered the conflict in a bid to drive out the Accretia and Cora and to harvest the planet's hugely profitable resources for themselves. The Bellato are originally from a home planet with a massive gravitational field. As a result, the race has evolved to be small in stature but boasting immense strength. Their ability to solve problems and utilize their great intelligence is evident in their style of living, the tools they use, and the structures they build. Though their religious beliefs are not as strict or as strong as the Cora, the Bellato still have the ability to master magical powers. Their great hand/eye coordination allows them to control vehicles and weapons with extreme accuracy, culminating in the high-level game ability to use towering battle Mechs. THE HOLY ALLIANCE OF CORA The Cora is a race of spiritual believers who worship their god, Decem, and follow a series of holy doctrines. Through discipline and training, the Cora have learned to harness and control magic. This magic can be used in items and weapons as well as to directly battle hostile enemies. They can also call upon creatures from the spirit world to aid them in battle.
