This 6'1 feet tall, gorgeous , Abhishek Bachchan was born on 5th Febuary, 1976 to Bollywood Legend and Veteran Actor Amitabh Bachchan & Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan has done his high school in Switzerland.

Since he was interested in acting and his father Amitabh Bachchan supports his decision, he stopped studying business in United States and joined in Films. As a Son of Legendary actor's will surely make his own place in the industry.

In fact, it wasn?t hard to see the young AB in this AB. The same six foot frame looming large, the same quick wit, the same endearing charm which can draw you closer, and the same Amitabh like aloofness which makes you retrace a few steps. And it all adds up to an enigmatic persona who?s hard to resist. Not surprisingly then his imminent debut has been a topic of discussion. And no one was fooled when his parents insisted that the boy was more interested in the behind-the-scenes intricacies of film-making, that he was much too young for stardom, that he was planning to go abroad for higher studies in another field. Abhishek was destined to be a star.

He started his acting career from film Refugee opposite Kareena Kapoor. It was not a hit but his performance was to the expectations and noticed by critics also. In LoC he plays the role of Captain Vikram Batra which is a worthwhile experience for him. Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost film failed to create any ripples but still Abhishek stands by it. Critics said the film needed improvement in the scripting department. But his role in the film is appreciated. He had done many films but still he is struggling hard for a blockbuster which can prove him. Despite all this he had been through with the Kapoors. Since then, he has starred in Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya Hai, Shararat, Om Jai Jagdish, Desh, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, Zameen, Line of Control (LOC), Yuva, Run, Hum Tum, Phir Milenge, Dhoom, Rakht, Naach, Bunty Aur Babli, Dus, Sarkar, Antar Mahal, Salaam Namaste, Ek Ajnabee, Bluff master, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Expect to see this budding star in many more films!
