I once had a dream where Mandy and I
sat on a grassy knoll observing the
sunset and playing "A Place in the Sun"
on our guitars. It was a good dream.
Oh wait, did that really happen?
You know how there's this place called
New York City and then there's this
place called New York City without Mandy
Wolfson. Well, one is a sad imitation
of the other. 'nuff sad, I mean,

i once spent three straight days on a metal-
framed camp bunk bed with mandy and a
bag of saltines. it look twelve more years
for us sleep together, though. thanks, josh.
Hot August morning, New York City, 2002. I
open my eyes dreamily and have a vision of
Mandy lying next to me. As the haze of sleep
clears I relaizes it's not a dream. Mandy turns
her barely clothed body to me and says, "That
scarf looks fantastic on you, I think you should
keep it." Then she got up to pee. I kept the
scarf.
