      • Chris and I were business partners in
the early 80s, trading stock onthe
London FTSE by day and knocking back
vodka tonics in Soho bars by night. It
was a life filled by the excitement of
the volatile bull market, and the
pleasure of friends. We were driven
apart by a woman. The best of friends,
we decided to take our vacations
together, and jetted of to Dubrovnik,
one of the out-of-the-way hotspots for
our crowd in the days before the war.
Once there, we both promplty fell in
love with Djevinjja, a Macedonia whore
who took us in with her chharm, and
held us each with her insatiable lust.
The fact that she wanted neither of us
        as long term lovers was irrelevant;
Chris would not give up on her and nor
would I. We decided to hash it out one
        night in Skjopjjke's, an Albanian
martini bar that we frequented. What
started out as an earnest effort
towards resolution ended up in a night
fight in the windy street of the
Dalmation capital. At the end of it, we
were both cut pretty bad. Cris had lost
an earlobe to my flickering blade, and
I bid farewell to my left index finger,
a victim of Chris' craftiness with a
        hand-sword. Exhhausted, we embraced,
bade each other farewell, and ended our
        friendship,both vowing to capture the
whore's heart on our own basis. But she
fled to Argentina in the middle of
        thenight with a wealthy Gaucho
landowner. I think, in my heart, I am
        ready to forgive him. Chris?

      • Chris is the kind of guy you just want
to hug and not let go. Which is perhaps
        why he plays rugby.
And he likes to drink beer.
And he likes to tell stories after
        drinking a lot of beer.
Which is okay, as he has a few good
stories to tell over a lot of beer.

      • Oh Chris, sweetie, Kissy-fer. How I
love thee. I think Chris was a
        proffessional limbo champion in a
former life, judging by the way he can
get low in the scrum. By far my
favorite prop, Chris is a great guy
both on and off the pitch. I found a
kindred spirit when I realized he has
the same interest in womens (ahem) 'ta-
        ta's' as I do.

      • Chris is a dude. Always larger than
life. Always with a story to tell.
Always keen for a yarn - whether it be
about rough trade, chicken, or the
latest thing in politics. And always
out there being himself and not
        conforming to any particular
        stereotypes... just Chris being Chris!

      • The only thing bigger than Chris' laugh
is his heart. And that is saying alot,
        really. Hug.

      • I met Chris through rugby in Vancouver.
What a fantastic guy! He has a great
sense of humour, infectious laugh and
is perhaps one of the sauciest guys
        I've ever met. A great friend! kiss>
