Shad was born on 31th July 1981 in Huntington Beach, California.
He's really nice, sweet, and laid back, but he has a slight anger problem. Matt is the "Mr. Tough guy" of the group, a lot of people are afraid of him.
He's a Senior in High School and actually pays attention most of the time. Matt's not one to let people walk all over him without there being a consequence.
He's a good listener and really easy to talk to. He is a drinker, but he does not smoke. Matt is the lead singer in a band, he's in with his friends, called Avenged Sevenfold. The scrapping-vocalist also plays the Piano, and occasionally will try a little guitar. He also has a wife, named Valary DiBenedetto. Matt drives a Mitsubishi Montero Sport. In his youth, Matthew Charles Sanders was notorious for his disorderly conduct and misbehavior. He was quoted as saying "I was in between being a good kid & a bad kid - I had a good heart, but a bad attitude." He was expelled from two different Huntington Beach schools, one for smashing a woman's car windows after a sixth-grade pizza party and another for defacing campus property in seventh grade. The latter event culminated in the untimely death of the school principal due to a heart attack, which earned Sanders the nickname "the kid that killed the principal". But actually now he's realize that he's had gone trough wrong ways. Now he would find the right way to be a really nice people, such an angel. Altough he said, "I'm afraid one day I'll lose my temper and killing someone does'nt wrong again."
He had a special motto of his life, it says:
"Do what you like to do, or DIE unhappy!
