Let's see... I am living a very guided, very spiritual life these days. However, I have also become very involved in my community, so I haven't completely lost touch! I have discovered my purpose, to be a civil servant, very recently, and am developing that. I have run for office, and hope to do so again very soon. It definitely brings out the best in me.

UPDATE, November 11th, 2005: I did run for office again, and got beat badly. I have since moved to Boca Raton, to live close to my Granny, regroup, and pay off debt, even build up a savings. I am about to buy a nice bike again and explore Boca and Delray, and will probably start volunteering for State Sen. Ron Klein, who is running for U.S. Congress, soon after. I am thinking about working for John Edwards if he decides to run for President, and I would like to have a top level position in the campaign on a statewide level. So, I'll put in time for a serious Democrat now, and learn from a well-put together campaign. If Edwards doesn't run, I'll work for McCain. Unless another respectable Democrat pops up out of nowhere.

I also am likely going to get my MBA while I am down here, because my company will pay for most of it, and it couldn't hurt. I might even get my Master's, but that's thinking too far ahead.

I ALSO am going to help coordinate the Alpha Course at my Church (a TERRIFIC program; look it up!). Hopefully I can find more ways to help out.

I can see myself buying a house in Gainesville years down the road and positioning myself for a political future there. I also can see myself making a connection that puts me in D.C. working for a politician. But, the Lord might put the right woman in my life, and then, who knows? I'm not planning for any of these things. I'm just living day to day, walking with the Lord, and praying as much as possible.
