      • you know that really famous statue in
italy? yeah, that's david. this david. my
        david. he's a f.ing national treasure. his
ass has been insured by lloyds of
london. and that smile could melt an
iceberg. man in the city, man about
town, man in my dreams of memory
lane and the tell-all i'll pen when the
foodstamps run out. i once played the
part of this man's mother, and yet, he
remains the funky godfather of good
times in west kendall. i knew you when,
senor, and someday when your name is
upon the tongue of all who are in the
know, i will call you on the telephone
and whisper to you a description of the
photographs i have kept all these years
knowing full well that you would be rich
and famous and i, from your past and
with love, would use certain images and
information to barter for a meager sum.
i'm thinking a private beach in curacao.
you just go do your crazy thang. we'll
talk about the photos on another rainy
        day.

(thats a count down until a dance move)
Remeber when we used to spend our
nights drinking rum and making up
        dances????
The question is : What do you do when
        you stop drinking?

        The answer is.............

Nothing bitch! You never stop drinking!!

      • ~Sigh~ A chance to speak on behalf of
        David. David's influence ranks among
the most important in my life. The
greatest actor I've ever known. My gay
fairy godfather. He paved the road for
my first step to social courage (for
some a mentor is much appreciated). The
first in a long list of victims to my
        unrelenting affection. His spirit is
poetry in essence. His passion is
        electric, a combination that envelops
the freedom of air and the potency of
fire. He knows contentment only in that
quality of life that suits him,
complements him, that surronds him, and
        shapes him: beauty.
An unforgettable figure of my past.
Though he wears a name that is as
numerous as grains of white sand; for
me at least, there is only one David.

      • David was one of my best friends in
high school. I remember our various
weekends out with the rest of the drama
group, and carpooling, and a certain
number from pearl jam (which i still
refer to as "our song"). i miss
hanging out with him at places like
cocowalk or bayside, but take comfort
in the fact that he's no more than a
        plane, train, or automobile ride
        away. :-)
