Testimonials and Comments for Barbara
the best friend a fellow can have. i
mean, she got me into yoga. what's
better than that? and she had to work
hard. every day i complained, whined to
her after class. and she not only put up
with it, she got me to keep coming. of
course, this is just the tip of a large
and -- may i say it? -- glorious
iceberg. barbara is the best. and we're
lucky to have her.
computer, I got the entertainment
system but when it came to Barbara it
was knock down drag out, call the cops,
Jerry Springer kinda fighting. We now
have a joint custody friendship with
Barbara because life without her isn't
tolerable. From her make your own
sushi party to love of life laugh,
Barbara simply rocks.
She is a DRAMA QUEEN! There we were, all
trying to peacefully graduate from
college and -- CRASH!!! There goes miss
thing, falling out the window and
landing in the sculpture garden, smack
on top of a defenseless Henry Moore
bronze. Sure enough, she shows up at
graduation day in a WHEELCHAIR, hogging
all the attention, getting in all the
pictures, and all the old biddies
shaking their heads and saying, "look
what a poor, unfortunate, courageous
young lady. So pretty--but who would
marry a cripple?" We all rolled our eyes
and lived through it. Meanwhile, at
least she has good taste in men! and she
can write most of the fiction writers
published in this country and a few
others, twice her age no less, into the
middle of next week.
but I do know that she's very generous
with her sewing equipment and that she
has a very cute b/f with an weird dog.
I'm going to miss having her as a
neighbor across the street almost as
much as she's going to miss her seam
ripper.
own profile, but you people have to
know this: Barbara is an incredibly
smart (and I mean "smart"), outgoing,
eclectic and creative person. She is
also a wonderful friend. Get to know
her, and in addition to all these
goodies, you might also have one day
the chance to test (and taste) her
fantastic Japanese cooking abilities...
