Belated Merry Christmas everyone and a prosperous New Year to you!

I've been putting this off for the longest time. The last blog I wrote was absolutely the opposite from what I expected..and after a really long contemplation of things, it's time I extended our thanks to each and everyone of you! But we're not done just yet..This is only the beginning!

2008 has actually been a terrific year for the band. We've managed to finish and finally, master the freakin' tracks after two solid years. Some of the guys have come and gone but nevertheless, we wanna thank each and every one of them that made this possible. We've managed to grace some of our songs independently on some of the fm radio stations In Manila with our first single, "beautiful day" (thanks so much to Dicki Flizsar). We've had some great reviews for our live gigs in and around the metro and still get many anxious and excited requests to release the album NOW and play gigs at their location.

Amidst all the many bumps on the road we've encountered and headaches we've had to endure, we have managed to stay afloat which, I would say, is a very good sign. It's not easy getting together a bunch o' dudes together without a lil clashing of ideals. But with a common goal to perceive and hand in hand perseverance, I'm sure that a lotta prayer here goes a long way now.

We're just thankful for all the wonderful people we've come in contact with to help us realize that this dream means so much more to us that it was ever before. God is our main driving inspiration to keep going and doing all this. To our respective families—thank you, moreso, to those of you who believed in us—and to those that thought we could never create this product in the first place. You were our challenge. Thanks also go to Dicki Fliszar (beautiful day [or 'altitude' as he made his own version of the song]) and Nick Graham (the flame) for their awesome contributions. To the major local recording labels here in Manila, we'd like to thank you for challenging us to bring it outwards into the world than just letting us settle for a local release in the Philippines. Thanks to all the station managers like my former boss Sgt. Pepper for believing and supporting us and to all rock radio dj's who keep the music flowing and playing our song/s. But the space I'd like to take now would be to our friends that kept pushing us to materialize the dream. You are still making it happen! And to the other bands, both local and foreign (past & present), whose very own music and inspiring words lead us to build our own fire. I have had the opportunity to have long chats with a good buddy, Arnel Pineda, who now is the phenomenal sensation to legendary band Journey. His words would ring like a bell to me every time I wake up each morning. "Don't give up on your dream, man. Look at me!" This dude is a fu—ing testimony of that statement and he still continues to egg me on as a mentor. As from that movie "Rockstar" that starred the versatile Mark Wahlberg, he's living it.

Here on myspace, or any given space at that, we would mostly like to thank YOU! Our friends and supporters as well as our fans! YOU, yeah you! The one reading this probably incoherent stuff I'm just blabbing about—dude or dudette and those in between—THANK YOU so very much for taking time to check out our stuff. We could not thank you enough for the love and support you generate by "flipping" through our sites and pages and leaving us with so many inspirational comments and words and the many votes of confidence. May you be blessed a thousandfold! And hopefully, we'll meet you where you are because we would be more than willing and happy to play just for you guys out there!

And like I said, this is only the beginning. The first phase is pretty much over and now we have to set phase 2 & 3 and whatever other phases in motion. I don't know where it'll take the band but I am so optimistic in the year 2009! They say '08 was sorta like a clean up stage, well like the ox in '09, we hope to play in your city soon and hopefully you could have a real honest to goodness copy of our work, Zavanna—My Life! Our album..
